AutoForward Text
Legal terms

Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern access to and use of AutoForward Text applications, websites, dashboards, forwarding services, messaging tools and integrations provided by AppObit Technologies FZ LLC.

Effective: September 13, 2020Last updated: September 13, 2026
Important: AutoForward Text may process private communications and can send or forward messages to third parties. Use the Service only with devices, accounts and communications you are legally authorized to access, and only contact recipients when you have the required consent.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and AppObit Technologies FZ LLC (“APPOBIT,” “AutoForward Text,” “we,” “us” or “our”). They apply to the AutoForward Text mobile application, website, web dashboard and related forwarding, inbox, messaging, reporting, API and automation services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, downloading an application, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

2. Eligibility, registration and account security

You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms where permitted. The Service is not directed to children under 13.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete account information and keep it updated. Business users must maintain an accurate profile, including applicable name, phone number, business and location information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting passwords, API keys, webhook URLs, connected accounts and devices. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

A subscription covers the number of devices or connections stated for the selected plan at checkout. Professional is designed for one primary setup, while Business currently includes up to three devices or connections. You may not use more devices or connections than your plan permits.

3. Limited license and intellectual property

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, APPOBIT grants you a limited, personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable right to install and use the Service for its intended purpose.

The Service, software, source code, design, databases, documentation, trademarks, logos and other intellectual property are owned by APPOBIT or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Except where law expressly permits otherwise, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, translate, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, extract source code from or attempt to bypass technical protections in the Service. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms.

If you submit suggestions or feedback, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

4. Device ownership, authorization and lawful monitoring

You may connect or monitor only a device, telephone number, messaging account, mailbox, workspace or integration that you own, administer or have explicit legal authorization to use. You must not install, conceal or use the Service on another person’s device without their informed permission.

You are solely responsible for giving legally required notices and obtaining consent from employees, contractors, customers, household members, message participants and other affected individuals. Laws governing communications privacy, workplace monitoring, call records, interception, recording and data protection vary by location. The Service does not determine whether your configuration is lawful.

Do not use AutoForward Text for covert surveillance, stalking, harassment, domestic abuse, unauthorized monitoring, theft of credentials, interception of authentication codes or access to communications you have no right to view. We may suspend accounts associated with suspected misuse and cooperate with valid legal or safety requests.

5. Messaging, consent and sender responsibilities

When you forward, send, reply to or automate a message, you are the sender and are responsible for its recipients, content, timing and legal basis. You agree to:

  • message only recipients you are legally permitted to contact and obtain express opt-in where required;
  • identify yourself or your business accurately and avoid misleading sender information;
  • honor unsubscribe, STOP and other opt-out requests promptly;
  • comply with telecommunications, consumer-protection, marketing, privacy and industry rules that apply to you;
  • follow carrier, WhatsApp, Meta, Twilio, email-provider and other connected-platform policies;
  • maintain evidence of consent where required; and
  • avoid excessive traffic that harms recipients, networks or the Service.

Unsolicited bulk messages, spam, purchased contact lists and attempts to evade filtering or registration requirements are prohibited. AutoForward Text does not provide legal advice or guarantee that a campaign, template, contact list or workflow complies with applicable law.

Public receiving numbers: if you use a public or shared number, assume that SMS content and sender details are not private. Do not direct confidential, financial, health or authentication information to a public number.

6. Prohibited conduct and content

You may not use, or help another person use, the Service to:

Break the law or violate rights

Engage in fraud, impersonation, unauthorized interception, privacy violations, intellectual-property infringement or other unlawful conduct.

Abuse or endanger people

Harass, threaten, exploit, stalk, discriminate against or endanger another person, or facilitate intimate-partner or domestic abuse.

Distribute harmful content

Transmit malware, phishing, credential-theft requests, unlawful sexual content, exploitation material, violent threats or instructions for wrongdoing.

Attack the Service

Probe, scan, overload, scrape or disrupt systems; bypass access controls, quotas or security measures; or use credentials without authorization.

Misrepresent traffic

Spoof identities, manipulate headers, conceal the origin of messages or evade carrier, provider, consent, registration or opt-out controls.

Resell without permission

Sell, sublicense or provide the Service as a bureau or managed service unless your written agreement or plan expressly allows it.

7. Trials, subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Paid features require a subscription. Current plan features, billing periods, trial terms and prices are displayed on the Pricing page and at checkout. Taxes, currency conversion, mobile data, SMS, carrier, roaming and third-party provider charges may apply separately and are your responsibility.

If checkout includes a free or paid trial, the trial lasts for the period displayed when you subscribe. Unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription may automatically begin and the payment method on file may be charged. Paid subscriptions renew for the selected monthly or annual billing period until canceled, as disclosed at checkout. You authorize the payment provider to collect applicable recurring charges.

You may cancel through the available billing portal or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally remove access before the end of the current paid billing period. Refund availability is determined by the checkout terms, payment-provider rules and applicable law. Promotional offers may have additional conditions and may be changed or withdrawn.

We may change prices or plan features. Material pricing changes for an existing subscription will be communicated as required and ordinarily apply to a future renewal. If payment fails, we may retry collection, restrict paid features or suspend the subscription.

8. Third-party services, integrations, APIs and AI

The Service may connect to Google services, Firebase, email providers, mobile carriers, payment processors, Slack, WhatsApp or Meta, Twilio, CRMs, webhooks, automation platforms, AI providers and other third-party products. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, limits and fees. We do not control them and are not responsible for their acts, omissions or changes.

By enabling an integration, you instruct us to exchange applicable information with it and represent that you have authority to do so. You are responsible for configuring permissions, protecting credentials, validating webhook requests, limiting access and disconnecting services you no longer use.

API and webhook use must follow documentation, authentication requirements and reasonable rate limits. You must design for retries and use supported idempotency controls for outbound replies to prevent duplicates. You may not publish secret keys or use endpoints to circumvent plan limits or platform protections.

AI-generated classifications, summaries and replies may be incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate. You must review outputs, constrain automated actions and use qualified human oversight for financial, legal, medical, safety, employment or other high-impact communications. Do not rely on AI output as professional advice.

Google Play Services, Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics may be subject to Google’s Terms of Service and applicable Firebase terms.

9. Devices, connectivity, updates and availability

Some features require an active internet connection, background permissions, sufficient battery, a supported operating system, a valid carrier plan and properly configured third-party services. You are responsible for internet, data, SMS, roaming and provider charges, including when you are not the device’s bill payer. You represent that you have the bill payer’s permission.

Features vary by device, country, operating system, carrier and connected channel. Android and iPhone do not offer identical capabilities. Operating-system or provider changes may disable or alter a feature. You may need to install updates to continue using the Service. Rooting or jailbreaking a device can weaken security and may prevent the application from working correctly.

We may update, add, remove, limit or discontinue features to improve the Service, address security or legal requirements, respond to provider changes or manage technical operations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent availability, delivery timing, message receipt or compatibility with every device or third-party service.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” APPOBIT disclaims all express, implied and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability and that the Service will be secure or error-free.

The Service is not an emergency, safety-critical, medical, legal, financial or guaranteed archival service. Do not rely on it as the only method for receiving urgent alerts, preserving legally required records, protecting evidence, recovering messages or contacting emergency services. Forwarded communications may be delayed, duplicated, reformatted, filtered or not delivered because of device, network, carrier, provider, configuration or recipient conditions.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability and responsibility for claims

To the maximum extent permitted by law, APPOBIT and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, messages, goodwill, business opportunities or service interruption, arising from or related to the Service, even if advised that such loss is possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, APPOBIT’s aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to APPOBIT for the Service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold APPOBIT and its affiliates harmless from third-party claims, damages, penalties, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from your content, devices, recipients, configurations, violation of these Terms, violation of law or infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from APPOBIT’s own conduct for which liability cannot be excluded.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel a paid subscription as described above. Deleting the application alone may not cancel a subscription.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, failed to pay, created security or legal risk, harmed recipients or systems, or exposed APPOBIT or a provider to liability. Where practical and lawful, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. We may act immediately for serious abuse, fraud, security threats, illegal conduct or provider requirements.

When access ends, the license granted by these Terms ends and you must stop using the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnity and general legal terms—will survive. Data is handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.

13. General terms

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the Service, law or our practices change. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. Where required, we will give additional notice. Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to AppObit Technologies FZ LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law in your place of residence applies. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. Nothing here removes non-waivable consumer rights.

Entire agreement and severability

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, checkout disclosures and any written plan-specific terms form the agreement governing the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue.

No waiver, assignment and third-party rights

Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger or sale. Except where expressly stated, these Terms do not create rights for third parties.

Electronic communications

You agree that notices and records may be provided electronically through the Service, website or account email. Keep your contact information current.
